Terms & Conditions of VCH Hire Period


TERMS & CONDITIONS


The hire period will be 1- 4 days. A deposit of 50% of the total hire value will be required to secure any items you require. Balance payments must be made one week prior to the event/hire date. A £250 refundable damage deposit will also be required with payment of the 50% deposit and will be returned once your hire order has been returned and checked for any damage or loss of items.


WASH UP SERVICE


This is charged at 20% of the total hire charge.  Or you can wash the items yourself if you have the facilities to do.


PLEASE NOTE


All the items in the afternoon tea collection are no longer mass produces we can therefore not guarantee specific colours or sizes. Should you wish you can come and view the collection and select specific items.  This service will be charged at a flat rate of £50.00, as it may take time to sort through the entire collection.


DEVLIVEY & COLLECTION


The standard charge for delivery and collection within a 40-mile radios of Downham Market is £25.00 for delivery and £25.00 for collection. Delivery out of this area will be expensive, as a commercial carrier will send your china order. Alternatively, if you wish you can arrange to collect your order.


REPLACEMENT VALUE


As most items in the collection are vintage replacement costs can be expensive.  We therefore have to charge for any breakages or loss of individual items.  These are as follows:-
£12.00 per china items (cups, saucers & tea plates etc)
£45.00 per cake stand (glass or china)
£55.00 per china tea pots
£45.00 per silver or silver plated item

These charges will be taken from the refundable deposit should it be required.
